DR. MUTINTA MASINGE NYUMBA

Dr. Nyumbu has over 20 years of experience working with public health development programs in Zambia. Specializing in capacity building and HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment in both the public and private sectors, Dr. Nyumbu’s credentials include HIV/AIDS change-agent leadership development among various groups of leaders including traditional, religious, political, and young influential leaders. Dr. Nyumbu has technical management skills in capacity building, business development, monitoring and evaluation, health logistics, and stakeholder and donor engagement. Before entering the domain of public health development programs, Dr. Nyumbu worked as a Consultant Pediatrician at the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia. Presently she is the Deputy Project Director for Prevention and Behavioral Interventions (PBI) at the USAID DISCOVER Health Project, funded by USAID in Zambia. Dr. Nyumbu holds a Master of Medicine (MMED, Pediatrics) from the University of Zambia.
