MIKA MWAMBAZI BWEMBYA

Ms. Bwembya is a Public Health Specialist with a background in pharmacy, project management, and supply chain management. Ms. Bwembya possesses extensive expertise in strategic planning and project management, partner collaboration and coordination, laboratory and pharmaceutical services management, supply chain management, forecasting/quantification and procurement planning, and commodity security and service delivery of HIV/AIDS, family planning, and maternal, newborn and child health medical products. With almost 20 years of experience, Ms. Bwembya has worked in senior management positions for large USAID and DFID funded development projects in Zambia. Her credentials include advocacy and collaboration with key stakeholders including the Ministry of Health, donors, and implementing partners. Currently, Ms. Bwembya serves as Director, Total Market Approach and Public Health Supply Chain/ Pharmaceutical and Laboratory services, with USAID DISCOVER Health Project, funded by USAID in Zambia. She is a holder of a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Holds a diploma in Pharmacy and advanced diploma in Project Management from the University of Cambridge, UK.
